Job Description

LDI Solutions is seeking a well-rounded and experienced Controller to oversee the daily operations of our Support Center. This management-level position reports directly to the President and requires an individual who can exhibit a sense of urgency and is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a lot of moving parts.

Location: Rochester, NH
Salary Range: $80K-$110K

Responsibilities:
OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT

  • Head of Finance: Manage company budget and cash flow.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Create financial statements and reports.
  • Human Resources Administrator: Manage employee handbook, discipline, onboarding, offboarding.

STRATEGIC AND TACTICAL DUTIES

  • Policy Creation: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Process Control: Maintain and improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • System Improvement: Enhance operational management systems and best practices.
  • Business-Critical Goals: Ensure achievement of critical business expectations.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assist with budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a company culture that encourages top performance.
  • Safety Promotion: Always ensure a safe working environment.
  • Growth Strategies: Develop and implement strategies for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor Financials to look for opportunities to reduce costs/expenses throughout the organization.
  • Manage internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Work with Sr. leadership to establish a management dashboard and key performance metrics.
  • Oversee tax preparation and business insurance
  • Monitor compliance with statutory requirements
  • Oversee credit
  • Review contracts
  • Manage employee benefits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business required.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience, demonstrating a proven track record of progression.
  • Software Knowledge: Advanced experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word required. Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Pipedrive preferred.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete tasks to deadlines.
  • Frugal and Hands-On: Detail oriented. Treat money as if it were your own. Negotiate with suppliers and customers to optimize relationships.
  • Communication: Effective communication and writing skills are essential.
  • Management Experience: Management experience preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to adapt to multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Willingness to take direction and work within a group towards team goals. Ability to work independently.
